I'm still going strong on my new workout regimen. I actually can't believe how much progress I have made in just a few short weeks. I'll post details soon. On Wednesday, I did an upper body workout and I was so sore the following day and in need of a good stretch. I filmed this and figured I'm not the only one with a tight upper body, so I hope you enjoy.
I recently posted a survey just to get some feedback and make YBC more useful to you, and the majority of people preferred 15 minute videos. This sort of surprised me because I personally prefer longer yoga videos. The thing is, with short videos is that you can't get much deep work done. It has to be something pretty gentle because it's just not smart to dive right into, say, backbends in the first fifteen minutes. On the other hand, I understand people have limited time, so ask and you shall receive, my friends!
This video isn't particularly advanced, but I would still recommend going into this warmed up, so start with something like my 15 minute gentle morning yoga video before hopping right into it because the chest and shoulder area can be finicky and you don't want to risk injury.
Don't forget - you can now purchase any YBC YouTube video published after June 13, 2014 if you'd like to have a yoga video available while you're traveling or when you don't have internet connection. (I do actually have a few published prior to that, contact me if there's a video you'd like to have to check if I have it available).
Keep sending in your yoga questions and have a fabulous weekend!
PS- For my Los Angeles people - I'm giving a free yoga class at Free People in Brentwood on Saturday!
