If you really want to know the truth, most of the clothes in my closet are one of four colors: black, dark grey, light grey, or white. Keeping it minimal works for me, but a few months after I started teaching yoga I decided I was ready to branch out with my yoga gear. I started with bright pink leggings, and then bought a pair of northern lights Teeki printed pants. Those worked out so well that I bought these balanced traveler yoga pants soon after. I misplaced them in our move to Germany, but recently found them in a ball at the bottom of a suitcase and I fell in love with them all over again.
The pros:
-They're about thirty dollars less than Lululemon's wunder unders.
-They're super lightweight and breathable
-Diamond gusset for total comfort
-They're eco-friendly! (Made out of recycled plastic bottles.)
-Seamless, high waistband so if your shirt rides up, you don't feel exposed. Option to roll the waistband.
-They're somewhat reminiscent of Beetlejuice pants so...Halloween costume dilemma solved! :)
The cons:
-You can machine wash them, but you need to remember to hang dry.
-They are sheer when wet (not good for a really sweaty yoga class, but perfectly fine for a regular power class).
Verdict: I love them. I've worn these a number of times and they're holding up great. Definitely happy I bought them.
PS- More yoga gear.
