This week I am comin' at ya with a 20 minute video shot at J. Johnson Gallery in Jacksonville Beach, Florida. It is a beautiful spot, and it's where we held the Slow Yoga in a Fast World workshop a few weeks back.
This video is, admittedly, not my best work, as I've been battling a cold all week (first time getting sick in a year, woof!) and my voice is hoarse. My apologies, I hope to be better next week.
The yoga sequence is for all my people with tight legs and hips who want to build up a little core strength and warm up for a run or workout. It gently works the hip flexors, hamstrings, and balance. It's appropriate for all levels, though I would suggest that beginners watch it first (or, fast forward through it) just so you know what's coming up.
As always, remember to breathe fully and deeply and always move within a pain-free range.
Let's talk Are you a runner? Or do you participate in any winter sports?
