The Namaslay book tour has officially wrapped and I am scrambling to get back on my feet and get some great content out to you. In the works I have a Namaslay themed challenge coming up starting the 15th, so stay tuned for that. I also have a recap of the book tour we are working on, and much more. Later on in the month I'll be taking some time off just because I am exhausted and need a break, but I want to get back on my feet first and tie up loose ends.
So today I'm sharing a quick yet effective hiit workout. I did this at Hotel Marlowe on the Boston leg of the book tour. Hotel Marlowe is an ideal place to stay if you're a health nut. They've got a major wellness program that I honestly can't get enough of. Their gym, as you'll see in the video, is one of the best I've ever seen for a hotel. They'll also bring you a travel gym kit to your room if you'd rather work out in the privacy of your own space. For recovery, they have bath salts on the edge of your jetted soaking tub which I just about died over. Like, who thinks of that?! I was psyched about it.
Incorporating hiit workouts into your life may help you to build strength and endurance, and help you to tone up, as short yet fast workouts are great for burning fat and building muscle. For this workout, we are going to be doing three rounds of two movements. The first movement will be a burpee. The second movement will be a sit up. For this workout we are going to be using a weighted ball with handles. If you don't have one, just use something similar, or you can opt not to use it at all. This workout is totally doable without any equipment. Focus on being fast, yet efficient in your movement, and be mindful to maintain good form.

I would suggest starting with a yoga warm up and finish with a cool down. As always, work within a pain-free range and take breaks as needed.
