I've been making a variation of this shake every day for the last week and it's turned into the thing I look forward to every morning. Blueberries get their dark color from flavonoids called anthocyanins, which can help to prevent degenerative diseases such as cancer, heart disease and memory loss. They're also packed with vitamin c, vitamin k and potassium. So drink up!
Ingredients for Blueberry Antioxidant Shake
1 cup organic blueberries (I used frozen blueberries)
5 strawberries (I used frozen strawberries)
6 ice cubes
1/2c almond milk
1t cinnamon
1T ground flaxseed
Directions
Blend everything in a high powered blender for 1 minute on high or until you reach your desired consistency. Drink and thrive.
