Today was my first day teaching at the Dubai Yoga Festival. I made my way over to the venue by taxi. The driver informed me that traffic was heavy due to constant construction and the latest rain. The rain had been minimal, but Dubai doesn't have much of a drainage system and the sand takes a long time to absorb the water, so there were parts of the street that were flooded. Once I arrived at the festival, I set up my table with my DVDs. The wonderful thing about Dubai is that it is such a global community. I talked with people from all over including Australia, California, India and Jordan. Later on, I taught my first class. It was groove power yoga and it went really well. I'm looking forward to teaching my last class tomorrow and then going out in the city exploring. Hope you have a wonderful weekend!
