The quality of the food was great - everything arrived fresh and ready to cook. Now that I am paying closer attention to grass-fed meats, wild caught fish, and the benefits of micronutrients, I do wish the ingredients had been a bit cleaner (ie: grass-fed beef, organic veggies), but the food truly was good regardless.
The price point is pretty good, as well. Dinners are $12 each, and you can choose from two, three or four servings. I like that you can change your subscription at any time, and skip weeks in case you're traveling, and manage everything from your iPhone or iPad through their app. I think it's a great option for busy singles (hello, $12/dinner is awesome and more cost effective than trying to cook for one at the regular grocery store), or busy families who have children that aren't too picky about what they eat.
Like I mentioned earlier, the thing I love most about these types of services is that you get just the right amount of ingredients for what you need to make a meal you wouldn't normally do on your own. And then, if you're like me, you realize that while these meals may would intimidating (Korean tacos are totally out of my comfort zone), they're actually super easy to make and easy to recreate down the line.
Let's talk: Have you tried a meal delivery service program? Is it for you? Which one did you try? What food did you get?
