The past few days have been pretty rough for me. What started as jaw pain from clenching my teeth (which I do every once in a blue moon when I am stressed), turned into a five day long (and still going strong!) headache stemming from a tweaked muscle or tendon in my back. On Friday, I was in so much pain and hadn't slept in a few days that I called my mom in tears, and she did what she always does when I call her in tears. She dropped everything and came out to help me. She took me to my doctor's appointment, made me dinner, and stayed the night so that she could be there and reassure me I wasn't dying a slow and painful death. I know that's what moms are "supposed" to do - be there for their kids - but it never ceases to amaze me how she really does just drop everything and help me when I need her, and I'm so appreciative of that.
