A few weekends ago, I headed down to The Marker Waterfront Resort in Key West. I've never been to Key West, and I was psyched to try my first Key Lime Pie.
I had two different key lime pies while there. The first from a little shop on Duval, and the second from Cafe Sole (highly recommended place for dinner!). Both were great, but it's not something I'd pick out of a line up of pies. I guess I'm a true New Englander, and prefer pumpkin pie or apple pie.
Key West is such a cute little town, and it's really vibrant. If you're like me and enjoy being out and about but also need some quiet space to recharge, then The Marker is the place to stay. It's a brand new resort, quiet, spotless, and so comfortable.
Everything from the comfy king bed, to the soaking bath to the serenity pool made me feel so relaxed that I didn't want the quick trip to end.
While there, I shot a little yoga in bed video. This is a gentle video, perfect to do first thing when you wake up to start your day off on the right foot, or right before bed to give your body a gentle stretch which should aid in de-stressing, and help with a quality night's sleep. It's hatha style, so it's a bit slower. If you're looking for a faster, flow style video, this won't be your jam. Try this instead. Hope you enjoy! Give it a try and let me know how it goes for you down in the comments section below!
In the video, I'm wearing this shirt from Nordstrom for under $20! It's long enough that it even works with leggings, as it covers everything :)
