I was recently in Kauai, Hawaii on a scouting trip, and I stayed at Koloa Landing Resort for a few days while there. I absolutely loved that each "room" was actually a condo unit. I had a one bedroom unit which I found to be super roomy, updated, bright and airy, and the perfect place to work, relax, and make food. It had its own full kitchen, dining area, living room, soak tub, and washer and dryer. The washer and dryer unit was the highlight for me because I'd already been traveling for a week prior to arrival, so being able to do some laundry was the best feeling!
The sitting area was nice and roomy, too, and the perfect place to shoot a couch yoga video while on site. Give the video a try and let me know how it goes for you down in the comments section below, and keep scrolling for more photos from Koloa Landing Resort!
The resort is fantastic if you're traveling with family because there is so much for everyone to do. From the volleyball area, to the mini golf area, to the gym (see below), to the various pools - everyone in your group will be entertained. I grabbed my computer, towel and Hari Mari flip flops and scooted down to the pool as often as I could.
That said, if you're a quite traveler, you'll still be happy because the units are private and quiet. Despite multiple families around, I didn't hear anyone in my unit!
