Things to know
- I like my retreats to be super relaxed. All yoga classes and retreat activities are up to you - do all or nothing. Feel like sleeping in? Sleep in! Don't want to come to a particular class? No problem! Would you rather go out to dinner than have the dinner provided? Do it! Do whatever you need to do to feel good.
- The yoga program is appropriate for all levels. Truly, everyone is welcome from the total beginner to the seasoned yogi. I will tailor the classes to ensure everyone's needs are met. You can get a feel for my teaching style on my yoga YouTube channel.
- If you'd like to explore the area, or would like me to help you book tours or make reservations, I am happy to help! Transportation around town can be arranged for a small fee, but it is recommended (i.e.: more cost effective) to rent a car. I can recommend car rental agencies I've used before and perhaps you could even split it with another student if you're on a budget.
- You'll need to budget for your lunches. There are many restaurants nearby and you should budget for between $10 - $25 for lunch each day.
- Any food allergies or preferences can be accommodated, we just need to know in advance.
- This will be a small retreat - 12 people tops. The advantage of a small retreat is having more individualized attention during the yoga practice. I also like them because at the end of the week you feel like you've really gotten to know people and made a bunch of new friends from all over the world.

We ask that you speak up if you have any particular pre-existing injury or illness that is relevant. We advise that you always listen to your body, and if you are feeling any pain or illness during the class that you stop and rest.
A final word
Yoga retreats are an opportunity to give yourself a break from the real world. At this Miami retreat, you'll have the luxury of creating the retreat of your dreams. Want to be low key? Head to nearby Surfside for a quiet beach experience. Want to pamper yourself? Book a spa day at one of the many luxury resorts nearby and spend the afternoon by their pool after your massage. Want a party atmosphere? Head to South Beach for a night out. You can expect a super fun week of yoga, delicious food, good times, and great company with likeminded people. I will be there not only to lead the yoga classes, but to assist in making any spa appointments, tours, or offering recommendations for the best place to get a grab a coffee or watch the sunset. With regards to the yoga, the biggest thing to me is that people feel no pressure. There are no egos or expectations. My only expectation of students is that when they choose to come to a class they pay attention to how they feel. When you need a break, take a break. When you want to push yourself, push yourself. For me, the most important thing is that it is a stress-free and safe environment for all to thrive. I'd love to welcome you there!
