Yoga Tip: Yoga for the Holidays 1

The holiday season sort of stresses me out, and I know I'm not the only one. I thought that I'd take the opportunity to bring some calm into your lives over the next few weeks by putting together a series of yoga videos to get through the holidays. :) Today's video offers 15 minutes of heart-pumping vinyasa that'll simultaneously quiet the mind. It's suitable for all levels, but I recommend going into it warmed up (it's so hard to cram a good warm up in there when I only have a 20 minute limit)! So here's to the holiday season- may we remain at peace during the madness. :)

PPS- Here are some songs you can play during the practice.

Bloops and Laughs

Happy day after Thanksgiving from Germany! Hope you had a wonderful day.

Today I'm here with some videos to make you smile. The first, a rap song about yoga girls. Fair warning: it will probably get stuck in your head. I love it when you call me big Baba. What?

Usually on Fridays I do Yoga Tip posts that give you a quick routine or show you poses you can do. Today I'm feeling under the weather, so instead of filming or taking pics, I put together a blooper reel. It documents the trials and tribulations of making youtube yoga videos. My dog runs around like he owns the place, phones are going off, we've got serious lighting issues, wardrobe malfunctions, me falling over- it's a good time had by none. :) Next week we'll be back to our regularly scheduled program of yoga tips on Friday.

PS-If you have any yoga questions, or would like to see a post about something specific, feel free to comment or send me a message on twitter or facebook. Have a mahhvelous weekend.

Yoga Tip: Video for Balance

Here's a 6 minute yoga flow that works on balancing. Warm the body up first before you go into it, and be sure to always move in a pain-free range. Subscribe to my YouTube channel to be updated when I post new ones. Happy Friday, friends!

Yoga Tip: 12 Min Power Vinyasa

Here's a twelve minute power vinyasa routine that will get your heart pumping. It has some ab work, tricep work and back bends. It's a faster pace, so it might be beneficial to watch it first before trying it out. Make sure your body is warmed up before going into it, and always move in a pain-free range. Hope you enjoy!

Yoga Tip: Morning Yoga Flow

It's a chilly morning here in Germany, so I put together a five minute morning vinyasa to warm up the body. Suitable for all levels, but always remember to move in a pain-free range. Hope you have a wonderful weekend!

Yoga Tip: Go With the Flow

Here's a three minute sun salute variation I put together this morning. Do not go into it cold- make sure you're warmed up! Most suitable for someone with a little more yoga experience, but beginners should feel free to give it a go - just remember to work within a pain-free range.
