Hello from gorgeous Miami. I am a little bit in love with this town. This morning I spent an hour by the beach - no one around - just soaking up the sun and a quick dip or two in the ocean. I am such a weirdo about the ocean. Our body absorbs 60% of what we put on it (which is why certain things like magnesium and gaba are best absorbed through the skin), so when I read that ocean and lake water has a bunch of minerals and are amazing for the body, that was all I needed to justify my love of the water. I jump in and imagine my body soaking up all the goodness. Who knows if it's actually true, haha, but I like to think so. Anyway!
Today I'm popping through with this month's episode of Favorite Things. These were all products gifted to me (#bloggingperks!) but all products that I really, truly love. Better yet, I met two of the three companies featured here and they were lovely, people - super passionate about what they're doing, and so kind. To me, that's really important. So here we go:
1. HiQ Face Serum This serum is backed by science. Each ingredient has a purpose in the formula and the end result is a hydrating yet lightweight serum that nourishes the skin. Use code: CANDACEYOGA for 15 % off your entire order. Expires: December 12, 2015
2. Mala Kamala Mala necklace. This handmade necklace comes from Australia, and I love it for a thousand and one reasons. The first being that it comes with information about how to use the mala necklace, how to care for it, and the reasoning behind each type of bead on the necklace. It's just nice when you're new to malas, you know? Use code YBC for 10% off now through Dec 12, 2015.
3. Aura Cacia Revive body cloths. This is a company I have loved for years. I trust them because every single product they put out has pure, good ingredients. Nothing weird or synthetic. Further, they impressed me because while they are a bigger company than I normally support, every single representative I've ever chatted with (I met them at ExpoEast) was kind, knowledgeable, and passionate about their products. That rarely happens when a company gets bigger, you know?
Let's talk: Do you have any recent finds that you'd like to share with us? I'd love to hear down in the comments below.
