The first few months of the GAPS diet was difficult for me because everything needed to be cooked and my stomach wasn't in shape enough to handle raw foods of any kind. Including juices. Brutal!
Anyway, two weeks ago I had my first salad, and started incorporating freshly pressed juices. I've been reintroducing the raw foods slowly and I'm pleased to say that so far my stomach seems to be handling it well!
Each morning I start off with a homemade green juice (I use this juicer, I love it!), and this juice was so good I thought I'd share.
Ingredients for Good Morning Green Juice
1 small apple
1 in piece ginger
9 large kale leaves
1 English cucumber
handful mint leaves
